Backfill Timecards is a local utility for reconstructing freelance work records. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Your records

You are responsible for reviewing dates, durations, clients, descriptions, and billable status before using an export for invoicing, taxes, or contracts. The app deliberately does not infer whether time is billable or prove that work occurred.

Free workspace and paid unlock

The free workspace includes manual entry, calendar review/import, project-to-client mappings, CSV export, JSON backup, and data deletion. The optional Pattern Deck is an $18 one-time purchase that adds saved patterns and previous-week cloning. Accessibility, privacy, and data exports are never paid features.

Payment and licenses

Sociobot’s hosted billing service provides checkout and Dodo acts as merchant of record. A purchase grants one user a revocable license to the paid features. You may restore your license on your own devices. Refunds are handled by the merchant of record and automatically revoke the license. Do not publish or resell license tokens.

Availability

The software is provided “as is,” without a guarantee that it will meet a particular accounting or legal requirement. Keep JSON backups of records you need: browser storage can be cleared by browser or device settings.

Acceptable use

Do not use the product to falsify records, violate contracts, or misrepresent work. You keep ownership of the content you enter.
