Your work stays yours.

Backfill Timecards is designed so sensitive calendar and work history can remain on your device. We do not operate an account database for the app and we do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party fonts and scripts.

What is stored

Work blocks, project-to-client mappings, and saved patterns are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB. A license token and its most recent verification result are stored in localStorage if you purchase or restore the one-time unlock. This data persists until you erase it in the app or clear browser storage.

Calendar files

Calendar files are parsed inside your browser. They are not uploaded. You choose which events to add and whether to include event descriptions.

Purchases

If you follow the purchase link, checkout is hosted by Sociobot and its merchant-of-record provider, Dodo. Their systems process the information needed for payment. This app contacts the Sociobot billing API to verify a license token, at most once per day. The app never receives card details.

Your controls

Use “Manage local data” to export a JSON backup or permanently erase local work data. CSV exports include only the week you selected. Browser developer tools or site storage settings can remove the saved license token.

Network and contact

Except for license verification after an unlock, normal timecard work requires no server request after the app is installed. Questions can be sent through Sociobot.
